Women & Wine - Tips for Researching Wine on the Web

I've probably mentioned before that I'm one of the few people I know who love wine who take a picture of the label of every bottle with my cell phone that I'm interested in buying after I've tried a glass. There's just too much information out there that my brain can't remember every detail - and sometimes, if it's been a special occasion or a more formal tasting, it's just too difficult to write notes and enjoy the experience.  Read more >

Tribute to Sheila Lukins, Founder of The Silver Palate

I was traveling this past Monday so missed the news of the passing of Sheila Lukins on August 30, 2009 at age 66 of brain cancer. My husband Marc said,"you should write something about Sheila since the Silver Palate was such a part of our lives together in the late 70's and early 80's in New York." About Me:

There's a saying "live your passion and the money will come".  That's what Women & Wine is all about - sharing a passion for food, wine and travel and the friendships and experiences that are formed/shared around my favorite things.

It's easy to say "you have my ideal job" - but trying to change the world to be more thoughtful about the people we spend time with, the food and wine we drink - and to share those stories to inspire, entertain and educate is a big responsibility. I hope that W&W becomes a trusted source for women - and men - but the future of the site is really in the hands of those who want to share their stories, photos, videos.

I hope you'll listen to my weekly radio show Women & Wine LIVE! at the Wine Valet on Sunday a.m. at 10 PST on CRNTalk.com - or on your local Time Warner cable network - or download it from itunes at http://womenandwineradio.com.

W&W - making a connection online ... and offline.
