   A conversation about Barbies brought me here. Some people say they're evil, others that it's just a doll. I grew up loving Barbie, and her many friends, and i don't think having them affected at all how i felt about myself. The adults around me did that. They had me believe that it is ok to change your personality to suit what a man wants. They had me believe that a woman is only beautiful until a certain age, and that then it was imperative to use things and procedures to go "back" to the woman you're supposed to be.  Read more >
