Hi everyone... new to BlogHer, trying to get into the community and found this group, which I definitely relate to!I'm a self-admitted shopaholic, definitely like to shop! But I justify it by being on the constant lookout for deals & coupons - both online and in-store. Anyone else relate? Things you gotta know? My name is Karina and I live and breathe arts & crafts: knitting, jewelry making, photography, scrapbooking, sewing, Japanese paper crafts... you name it!

However, don't let the name "Knitting & Purling" fool you. It's technically a knitting blog, but it's also more than just a "knitting blog." You see, I have a lot of hobbies and interests... including cooking, decorating, living frugally through couponing, keeping up with SEO/social media/tech talk, supporting local artisans by buying handmade and one of a kind goods, and just shopping in general (definitely a 100% shopaholic here!).

So basically, the Knitting & Purling blog has evolved to cover practically everything I'm interested in (as a self-proclaimed, "stylishly domestic 21st century homemaker" who also admits to being a true geek and computer nerd, through and through).
