The Best Made Appointments

In July my family managed to re-touch base with my youngest son's specialist and the children's hospital Holland Bloorview in Toronto after a nine year absence, which is far too long, I know that.  I've got more guilt about this in my little finger than most people have their entire life.  Read more >

About Me:

My name is Kat and I'm 39 years old and I have no idea how to fill this in.  I could write about how I have 3 amazing kids, 2 boys and a girl stuck in the middle.  I could write that my daughter has ADD and Dyslexia and that my youngest has Cerebral Palsy, but to really explain what that means to my life would take up pages and pages and we just don't have enough space here.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we've been together for 22 years.  We're each others best friend, which is a good thing because when we reach those rocky, slippery slopes instead of falling off we cling to each other for support and manage to see it through.

I'm currently unemployed, and that would be because it's hard to hold onto a job when you have to keep calling in, taking time off or missing work because your son is sick, hospitalized or has to see one of his umpteen doctors, therapists or whatever.  It's too bad because we can't afford me to stay home but we just don't have any other choice at this time.
