I'm 'Going Dutch.' I recently jumped the pond, moving from North Carolina to the Netherlands to earn my masters degree in Public Health. I have gained new perspectives on health, balance, and cultural norms, and hope these perspectives can be shared. I love to play soccer, to read, to paint (although poorly), to learn new things everyday, and to make up lyrics to songs on the radio. I love talking to people and hearing their life stories, and in turn am highly motivated to become bilingual. A Fish Out of Water

I am officially a fish out of water. I have held this status for officially 1 year and 3 months, and approximately one fourth of this time I have spent floundering around- flipping and flopping- and gasping for the air of relative normalcy.
