I had an interesting experience while volunteering for Barack Obama's campaign tonight.  The room was packed with women.  Dozens of women in one tiny little local office.  They were all there for the same reason I was: they were terrified of the idea of Sarah Palin as VP, or worse, as President of the United States of America.  Fear of Palin and her radical, anti-woman views had moblized the whole room of us.  One woman had brought her young son with her.  He ate his supper and colored with crayons while his mother called voters in New Hampshire.  I enjoyed the sort of warm-fuzzy fe  Read more >
