Myself, I'm more of a spring, summer, and fall kind of girl, but even I have to admit, Jack Frost has his charms. About a year ago, I bought my husband a Kindle. He travels a lot for work and really loves to read, so it was a pretty perfect gift, if I do say so myself. Or, at least it was, until he let me borrow it for a trip across the country, after which he found it nearly impossible to pry his treasure from my vice-like grip. I don't know about you, but I spend a lot more time walking around outside in the Summer than any other season. I'm far more likely to go to dinner or for drinks downtown (where I know I'll be walking a few blocks from where I park) when the sky is clear and my wool coat is a distant memory. But summer dresses mean a lot of strappy sandals, funky wedges, and killer heels. And those don't always go well with that whole walking thing, you know?  Read more >

I'm a 30-something freelance writer/editor/blogger living as stylishly as possible, considering it's generally at least 200 degrees outside and I live in a college town where folks wear their "good" flip-flops out to dinner. I live with my husband, two dogs, and a cat, who have all learned to pretend not to notice when my hair isn't working.

If I'm not here, chances are pretty good that I'm at the gym, eating (which is why I have to go to the gym so much), or drinking wine (yep, another reason for the gym). Though sometimes I'm here AND drinking wine, which is when things really get fun.
