I'm just another broad who thinks she has a story to tell, I suppose. But seriously....

I consider myself an essayist with a largely self-depreciating, nostalgic, and tongue-in-cheek writing style.  I write about things that happen around me now--things that I find ironic, poignant, or particularly odd. I also write about my childhood quite extensively--and I try to do so in a way that is familiar to my readers, whether they find a bit of themselves, or someone they know, in the story or it's reminiscent of a place they grew up, a specific time, a random feeling.
