Boy, with in the first few pages I was pretty shocked. Karen writes about a family that lives in the Gulf Coast, through several hurricanes and the last being Katrina. Its a story about survival. How life's tragedies and natural disasters have in common. The plot has you wanting to turn the page and not put down the book. I Am Hooked on A Discovery of Witches!

I will admit it here, I am hooked! I was excited to read A Discovery of Witches from the minute I heard the title. I have read many authors that have wrote books about witches. This one got me hook, line and sinker! Deborah Harkness writing was wonderful. It kept you wanting to turn the page after page.
