Novice chef and baker, live at home daughter, girlfriend to Army officer, Los Angeles native, and food blogger

I'm a 26 year old who lives at home with my lovely parents in LA. I work in PR and have a great boyfriend who happens to be an officer in the Army. He recently moved up to Fairbanks, AK. which is what we call interior Alaska…

And now he is in Afghanistan doing his thing:

And now we are dealing with deployment and all that comes with that (missing each other, not talking, worry, anxiety, sleeplessness nights). But I am so lucky to be surrounded by friends and family and especially these two pups:
