It's me, the voice behind Visible Voice. Some of you may know me as Kristi...others may not know me at all. I'm married to this hot guy named Matt and I have this really cute kid named Isaiah and we live...well we live a little too close to Rudolph for my liking. Thank heaven's it's only temporary! We're originally from Nova Scotia Canada and we think it's rather "lush" there! I've done many a jobs in my life. My education is in Interactive Multimedia Graphic Design and I've worked doing Design off and on over the years. Mostly off. But I hope to be on again someday! I've since then worked at a call center where I felt like a monkey in a sweat shop, worked with the cutest of cute kids with special needs, and worked as a mere receptionist where I'd like to think that I was the "FACE" of the company. Hey...it'd made me feel important! Now I get to stay home with this absolutely cute kid and I blog about anything and nothing anytime I can. This blog started back in 2006 when my friend Cari convinced me to do it. I really was NOT into it at all. And then one day...I realized the love I have for it. And now my blog and I have an affair for about an hour or so a day. It's okay...hot husband is just happy I'm occupied and not complaining about where we live! Jokes! I most recently have found myself in a tough position. My blog became public in a place where there is already a lot of hatred toward me. I've since moved over here...to Visible Voice in hopes of only positive people stopping by. That's my HOPE! If people find me that don't like me...well...thanks for the unique hits! Helps get my name out there! My husband's job takes us to different places and even not so great places. Where we are now it's a means to an end and as I do my best to keep sane and happy...I read and write and it's all about blogs! Why "Visible Voice"? I tend to stay out of the pictures...contrary to all of the pictures of me on my menu! Those pictures came from a couple years ago when a PRO took them of me. Since then...well I had a baby! Nuff said! So I tend to be invisible for the most part...but my voice...well that's VERY visible! And I'm glad...except for that time all those people read it and started hating me because I put up pictures they didn't like of their land. Oh and then rumors flew and half truths spread like the swine flu! (I'm really trying NOT to get into it...can you tell??) Lucky for you...this is the most updated photo I have of me. I'm sure I'll get some new ones eventually. Like from the neck up! Recently I feel like any work I do, artistically speaking...whether it is writing, photography, Graphic Design, or random arts and crafts...I feel like that's my visual voice. And so Visible Voice is becoming and true symbol to me in many wonderful ways! I love chocolate, smelly lotions, sushi, city life in all it's glory, and shirley temples...they quench the thirst!
