Lady J

Here's a random cluster of information about me. I think story telling is an art form. I enjoy intimate conversations in various forms. How many of us have experienced true intimacy? How many people ask themselves what true intimacy might be? I am interested in people and I have a craving for intellectual stimulation. I am introverted and can be hard to get to know. I am more of a one on one person. I don't always do well in crowds. If I feel comfortable with you I will probably ask questions like a small child. I always want to know who what when where and especially why. Beauty is in the details. I like to take time to really look at every day things. There are days when I don't want to deal with the world and others when I am curious and grateful with everything around me. I am intrigued with strangers because I can learn so much from their knowledge like cake..walk up to them with knife and fork. I am constantly contemplating nature vs nurture. I enjoy learning from others and appreciate those who are more knowledgeable than I or those who can show me a different perspective from my own. I am an advocate of humility. If I am wrong, 9 times out of 10 I can admit it. I am interested in feminism. Not today's pop-spice girl-girls rule boys drool-man hating-anything you can do i can do better-power puff girl-militant feminism. I believe that feminism is about loving men and loving women and loving ourselves. It is all connected. I am still learning..always learning and do not claim to know everything about anything. I seem to get along with men more so than women. I am drawn to genuinely kind people, generous, patient and understanding people. Unkind, oppressive people tend to make me sad.

Synesthesia. Apparently I Have It.
I, too have synesthesia. I love it. It makes me rad at Pinterest.more

I Don't Wear Make up. If I Did Would I Be Less of a Feminist? I Say No.

Feminism and Hair. Is Shaving For Suckers?"Shaving is for suckers" as my friend Aimee would say. Us women are hairy beings and many forget this....even women. Isn't that bizarre? Us women who shave are the ones who go through the process of hair removal however we often forget that we have as much hair as we do....more
