Lara Neves

I am the mother to three beautiful, brilliant and bossy daughters. I'm married to Joel, Dr. Maestro Orchestra Conductor extraordinaire. When I'm not working on my mother of the year status, you can find me singing professionally, teaching voice lessons at the University, taking lots and lots of photographs, listening to opera, finding a good deal on groceries, reading a good book, or maybe even scrapbooking (that is, if I'm not blogging). Life is definitely overstuffed, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Beauty Box 5 Review: April 2014

"Shades of Beauty" is Beauty Box Five's theme for April 2014. The colors are really fun, too, and would be perfect for a night out on the town ....more

Help Your Children Nurture Their Talents: Five Pinterest Boards to Follow

Anyone who knows me well knows that I hate the fact that my children insist upon getting older. As much as I love to celebrate their birthdays, there is always a part of me that is so sad to see the younger version of them go. I get a little wistful when I think of all the cute things my girls used to do and to love, like dress-ups and Tinkerbell ....more
