About Me:
Leah Lamb is dedicated to delivering the message that a sustainable future is possible. She is the online producer for the Current.com’s Green channel [http://current.com/green/] where she blogs, interviews emerging and established leaders, and writes and produces video opinion pieces about the environment. Lamb is an adventurer at heart, has travelled extensively, and was introduced to the travelling/adventuring for a purpose via Everest Challenge, where she worked on one of the first environmental expeditions on Everest. Lamb was a naturalist in Alaska (and known for her uncanny ability to run into bears) and wilderness guide for Outward Bound in the states. A believer in the power of media, Lamb has consulted with filmmakers on how to use films to motivate and mobilize their audience; the producers of Strange Days on Planet Earth and American Blackout and was as community engagement specialist Active Voice. Lamb has served on the on the advisory board of the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation as their Arts and Dialogue Specialist, founded The Performance Initiative which was designed to utilize the arts for social change, and wrote and produced the award winning environmental Ecospot, "I Did Noth'n". On sunny days she can be found on her computer sitting in the middle of her garden.
