Raising the extended family

I was one of those women who was never going to get married or have children.  In high school all I ever wanted was to be an astronomer and children never figured into the equation.  So of course I got pregnant in college.  The pregnancy was horrible and I spent the whole time I was pregnant terrified I was not going to love my baby.  Then she was born and when I saw her for the first time I felt like someone hit me in the head with a frying pan, the love hit me so hard.  Flashforward fifteen years, her father is long gone and I have met the man that I will eventual  Read more >

About Me: 
I am a 41 year old mother and grandmother. I am newly married and trying to have one last baby. I work in the corporate world and I'm tired. I'm tired of the daily grind and spending all day with people I have nothing in common. I want to read/hear opinions that are not have not been formed from years of inbreeding.
