I'm a writer from Northeastern, PA. My parenting essays can be found in several publications such as MotherVerse Magazine (both in print and on their blog), as well as in the books "How to Fit a Car Seat on a Camel: And Other Misadventures Traveling With Kids" and "The Manual for Motherhood, Vol. 1". I blog at my website and most of my short stories have been published under a pseudonym. I live vicariously through my friends. However, I do find the humor in the not-so-vicarious. I have a six year old son (who’s terribly embarrassed when I write anything about him, especially involving poop or things he’s stuck up his nose – even if it is funny), a spastic dog named Betsy, a boring cat named Spaz, and two hermit crabs: Biggie and Smalls.
