About Me:

I am a 30-something single parent of two trying to eke out a living as a freelance writer. I write opinion articles, short stories, and poetry. My most recent projects that I am proud of is joining with an organization called Alana's Acheivers to help promote literacy for school aged children. I am active in volunteer service in my community and I am a homschooling parent under the K12 curriculum. My blog "Tales of a Literary Nobody" focuses on my experiences as a woman, mother of a disabled child, and a writer. I also blog about all the things that affect me. The funny and the serious.
