Stephanie C. Roberts is a documentary photographer and the creator of LittlePurpleCow Productions, a digital media production firm based in Atlanta, Georgia where she crafts multimedia stories for business and non-profit organizations. In 2009 Stephanie and fellow Shutter Sister, Jen Lemen, won the "Name Your Dream Assignment" photography competition sponsored by Microsoft and Lenovo, awarding the team $50,000 to execute a 12-month personal project, "Picture Hope." The project sends them on a mission to excavate images and stories of hope from people in seemingly hopeless places around the world.

Stephanie is focused on several long-term photography series including "One Family at Home," a multi-part series studying the diversity of family in its most intimate setting, and exploring the power of iPhonography as a creative and mobile method of visual documentary. She is a partner and regular contributor to Shutter Sisters. Stephanie lives on a cattle farm with her family where she sculpts natural light, thinks deeply, avoids ironing, and enjoys watching the grass grow.
