Happy Saturday -- and for some long weekend! It's been another busy week for the conferences team here at BlogHer so let's get started. First! We have issued our Call for Volunteers for BlogHer '12 in NYC. What you get and what you give are outlined in the post but it's pretty simple: give us a few hours of your time and we'll give you a full conference pass (other expenses are not included).  Read more >

About Me: 

I am a native Californian, namely Los Angeles (suburbs).  I moved to Northern California in 2003 for a job and never left, inspite of being laid off from that job.  I have a wonderful 4 legged child, Missy, who is the absolute love of my life.  She is a chihuahua/jack russell and makes me smile more than just about anything can.

I have a very diverse professional background, HR, Customer Service, Operations, Events - basically jack of all trades, master of some.  

I do not have any 2 legged children nor am I married, both by choice.  I have come to realize my life is simple and easy and frankly that works for me.

I have a business degree and consider going back for my Masters on a regular basis - need funding!

And now, I have a wonderful job and I am grateful to have found a work environment that fits me - working for women who have their act together is inspiring!
