I'm a freelance writer, wife, mom to 2 young boys, yoga teacher and everyday fitness enthusiast. I author the blog Love, Life, Surf where I share stories about my experiences as a mom who is trying to balance work, fitness, family and healthy living, and the lessons that I’ve learned through these experiences.

I love cooking, traveling, swimming, skiing, yoga and running. I have run 3 marathons (Chicago, Marine Corps, and NYC) and 1 Olympic-distance triathlon (NYC). I also make a good risotto.
