I’m a New Zealander who has lived on Long Island, NY since 2000 after a chance encounter in a hostel in Cologne, Germany led to my then boyfriend (now husband).

I also write at blue.bell.beat. It's my canvas, my place to let it all go; especially about the package deal (good, bad and ugly) that comes with our three years of trying to get pregnant... and not being very successful. A place to put to rest things I can't always say aloud, and to ponder and celebrate life lived in two countries.
