Lu Vorise Dahlman

Lu Vorise Dahlman aka “LV”, Keynote Speaker, Author, Columnist and Founder of the LVD Group, where she consults, coaches and recruits the individual in addition to groups with creative and empowering practices rare to Corporate America. She is an authentic leader who encourages others to look deep within to discover their inner talents and underlying strengths. Lu Vorise's charismatic collaborations leave her clients decidedly motivated with a renewed mind and focused vision. She has a strong-minded self determination to succeed against all odds and a contagious energy which draws out the best in her clients.

Throughout Lu Vorise’s professional career, she has held various consulting assignments such as Sr. Recruiting Consultant to Allstate Insurance, Towers Perrin ISR, United Airlines and Hewitt & Associates. She has also held various human resources management positions with DePaul University, Motorola Inc., US Cellular and the United States Navy. She is also the former President of the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce. Her intuitiveness in these positions has enhanced her strategic thinking acumen and expertise, thus allowing her the art of the long view to successfully partner with her clients in the realization of their personal and professional goals.

Lu Vorise graduated with both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from DePaul University. She is also the recipient of a Letter of Commendation; National Defense and Good conduct medals from the United States Navy while serving as enlisted personnel. She most notably co-authored a book titled Stepping Stones to Success with Deepak Chopra, Dr. Denis Waitley and Dave Canfield and most recently released her second book titled Freeing Godiva, a woman’s journey of self- empowerment with Lauren Mackler. When she is not working on her next business idea or speaking engagement, she enjoys reading, writing poetry and blogging. In summary, Lu Vorise’s mission for her community exudes that of Passion AND Purpose.
