Delivering Three

three

I have delivered three children: the eldest biologically and the younger two through adoption. It is true that the methods of delivery were different for each child. My oldest son, Christian, well, he was a miracle to me in that I truly never knew if I would be a mother. I was adopted internationally as a child and so the thought of “having” a baby seemed foreign to me. When I was pregnant with him, though, it seemed as if I was meant for the experience.  Read more >

Vitya Soars, An Adoption Delivery

Vitya Soarsby LETHERBEGREATER/Michelle Madrid-Branch“I imagine, at 10:30 in the morning, what you are doing inside the orphanage you have called home for the first 11-months of your life. Do you feel our presence as we enter your country? Do you know that mommy and daddy are coming?”  Read more >

About Me:

Michelle Madrid-Branch is an author and a former Emmy Nominated television news journalist, with over twenty years background in writing and inspiring others to find their greatness within. Born in the United Kingdom and adopted by Americans, Michelle has journeyed a life of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Her experience with inspirational writing and speaking began in 2004, when she exited the world of television news journalism and began writing inspirational books on adoption. The first, The Tummy Mummy, was released in 2004 and endorsed by the US National Council For Adoption. Michelle has been called “a world voice for adoption” by Adoption Australia and a “woman answering her calling” by Woman’s Day Magazine. Michelle was honored with the Congressional Angels in Adoption Award, in 2004. The release of Michelle’s second book: Adoption Means Love: Triumph of the Heart grew more recognition for her writing. This book was named a “top 5 inspirational book for 2006” by Dolce Vita Magazine. Triumph of the Heart was called a virtual “field of dreams” within the pages of the Brooklyn Exponent.
Michelle’s capacity to inspire people is a passion. Her travels to Ethiopia, in 2010, to adopt her now 2-year old daughter, inspired the name of this inspirational blog site. “Let Her Be Greater” is the translation of  Tiblet: her daughter’s Ethiopian name. Michelle’s intention is for every woman, everywhere, to discover her authentic beauty and inner treasure. Michelle Madrid-Branch is the 2011 Professional of the year (Authorship Industry) for Cambridge Who’s Who.
