Valentine's Day After Divorce

Valentine's Day is approaching and while others may be excitedly shopping for the perfect gift for their loved one, it's a festival that can throw any newly-separated or divorced person into a panic attack. The anxiety isn't limited just to yourself but your children too. Certainly, when my kids were in elementary school, Valentine's Day meant giving cards to every other child in the class and big class party. About Me:

I'm a 50-something mother of two, blogging about life after divorce at Since My Divorce. I enjoy interviewing women about what they've learn about life, love and themselves since getting divorced. By sharing these stories, we want women who are facing divorce or contemplating divorce, to know it is not the end of the world, that they are not alone. Divorce is always difficult and emotional but if you're willing to do the work, it can lead to a better, happier life.

Sharing your personal story not only helps other women, it can also help you. Many of the women I've interviewed have said that talking about their experience was part of their healing. If you like to write, you can share your story through guest posts. If you don't like to write - no problem - I'll write your story for you. Either way, please email me at Mandy@sincemydivorce.com .
