Deciding to Date Online

One of the many aspects of the Fit4Love coaching program that I like is that it's leading me to my goal at my own pace and it isn't one-size fits all dating advice. Joining Meetup groups might work for some but I just don't have time like that. I need to be more focused, more intentional and that's why I decided to start online dating.  Read more >

Marriage Status is Irrelevant

Since my divorce, the question on so many surveys and registration forms -- most often from medical providers -- about marital status has puzzled me. I could check that I'm divorced, but I'm more likely to check that I'm single, which is how I see myself. The question is rarely "current marital status," so should I check all that apply? Isn't that more about which of life's most stressful events I've experienced? The more confusing and concerning issue, however, is why this information is being collected.  Read more >

About Me:

I'm a 50-something mother of two, blogging about life after divorce at Since My Divorce. I enjoy interviewing women about what they've learn about life, love and themselves since getting divorced. By sharing these stories, we want women who are facing divorce or contemplating divorce, to know it is not the end of the world, that they are not alone. Divorce is always difficult and emotional but if you're willing to do the work, it can lead to a better, happier life.

Sharing your personal story not only helps other women, it can also help you. Many of the women I've interviewed have said that talking about their experience was part of their healing. If you like to write, you can share your story through guest posts. If you don't like to write - no problem - I'll write your story for you. Either way, please email me at Mandy@sincemydivorce.com .
