I'm the feminist mother of an amazing teenage boy who is a vegan artist and makes me ashamed of my lack of creativity and the cream in my coffee. I volunteer at a local art gallery working with kids and youth, I write poetry that is sometimes published in journals no one reads, I rant on my blog about stuff that makes me mad, sometimes I doodle and post my scratchings. I am particularly interested in mental and sexual health, sexual and domestic violence, gender politics, media bias, and the oppression of women and children everywhere across the planet.
