Buddy brought home the ultimate Mother's Day Gift on Friday - lice.  Woo to the hoo!  This was my first experience with the little creepers.  How my brother and I dodged that bullet, I'll never know.  I remember getting checked for lice a couple of times a year at school, but I was never one of the lucky ones who had them.  *shiver*  Read more >

Supermoon Tonight

Yesterday as we were driving to school, the DJ on the radio said that he would be back in a moment with information on how and when to see the Supermoon.  Princess looked at me with horror on her face. "Supermoon?  Really?" she said. "Yes," I said.  And then I explained how not only was there a full moon Saturday, but it was going to occur as the moon passed closest to the Earth so it was going to appear HUGE in the evening sky.  She looked relieved.    Read more >
