About Me:

My life began to change at age nine, when I wrote my first poem, "Butterflies."  I've written many more poems, rhymes and stories for children since then.  I'm the eldest of a family we like to call "A second Brady Bunch" because my father died tragically and two years later, my mother married a widower who lost his wife under similar circumstances, leaving him with three chidren, ages two, three and four.  A girl and two boys my sister and I adored!  When I turned fourteen, our family was blessed with a baby boy, and I became his second mother, as Mom had to work at a full-time job.  So there we were, three girls and three boys: A "Brady Bunch!"
