Packing: Do as I Say, Not as I Do

This will be the third BlogHer Conference where I'm driving in the official Carpool (first time, Chicago '07, then Boston Outreach '08, and now Chicago again) and you think I would have learned a lot from doing all these roadtrip carpools... but I really haven't. I still overpack to the max, forget good snacks, and spend waaaaaay more than I should at Target. Oh Target, this Canadian cannot resist your siren song when trucking down the I-94 towards The Conference of the year. Oh and speaking of overpacking and buying too much on the road: SWAG! Sure, it's something we all(most) all get and it's hard to resist the allure of FREE FREE FREE stuff, but oh my holy heck it takes up space. What to do?  Read more >

So we have a time and a place now we just need to know how many are going to be at the Don Mills Brickworks this Saturday June 6th between 10 and 12pm. About Me: 

In her so called real life, Katie is a full-time IT nerd who also has been somewhat reluctantly jumped in to the parenthood gang. While she is embracing the 'hood and knows many of the gang signs, she's still totally confused as to how she got here.

Anyway.

Katie is the co-founder of The Bad Moms Club and a regular contributer at MamaPop plus she also occasionally blogs at her personal blog, motherbumper, but not as often as she should. Katie figures she'll sleep when she's dead.

 Something that might surprise you about me: Despite suffering extreme stage fright, I used to supplement my income as a standardized patient for hospitals and med schools. My fake illness specialities? Mental illnesses and playing a pregnant teen.
