About Me:

Hi! I'm Lisa. Currently I'm the managing partner/founder of StLFamilyLife, a digital magazine for parents in St. Louis. I live in the 'burbs with my Sudoku-loving husband, Wii-addicted son, cranky old lady dog and new pup. (Who just recently met the back end of a little skunk. Oy!) These days I do a great deal of writing. I recently finished writing my first novel. (Still need to get it edited.) And am collaborating on another cool project. Not at liberty to discuss just yet...

I began blogging at Midwestern Mommy (later renamed MotherOfBun) in January of 2005, then two years later, created Midwestern Mommy Reviews, where I wrote product reviews for Parent Bloggers Network (PBN) and MomCentral. The gig with PBN  later morphed into managing product review campaigns for the site.

Currently I'm a contributor for Girls Guide to the Galaxy

Over the years I've had some wonderful opportunities through blogging and have met some incredible people through gatherings like BlogHer, Camp Baby, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson and Build-A-Bear Connect.
