You'll read it all from every day happenings to big time drama as my family and I play the game of life and experience its blessings and cruelties.

About Me:
My name is Kimberly Rose, but you can call me Kimi. I'm 23 years old
and I am a work at home mom. I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana
but despite living there for the first 11 years of my life, I still
call Colorado "home". I did most of my real growing up there.
The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a mom. It quite literally makes who I am. My daughter is 2 1/2 and suffers from Autism - Low functioning spectrum. But despite what you may think or what you have heard, she's an incredibly bright child full of love and warmth. She's not retarded. She's not one of those radcial, screaming children at the grocery store. She simply lacks the full ability to communicate. Fortunately, through the help of three types of therapy she's gaining understanding and the tools needed to finally communicate with us in ways we can understand.
I'm also married - for the second time in fact. I like to call my first horrible, abusive marriage my practice - one that I learned a lot from. I'm happily married now to an incredible man who meshes really well with the type of person I am. He loves me for me and loves my daughter in ways I didn't know were possible for anyone but myself.
I have been doing graphic design and web development for the last 6 years. I'm not particularly fantastic, but I really enjoy the work. I develop 3D content for the virtual world of IMVU. It's currently my main job focus.
I'm a high school graduate and a college drop-out. Hopefully I'll have the chance to go back to school in the next couple of years for something I'm really interested in - rather that going to school because my parents are forcing me to.
