As a photographer with roots in studio work and freelancing, I am looking towards a future with a concentration on photography as strictly an art form to convey my personal vision. Putting my pursuit for my continuing education and career goals on the back burner as I enjoy the antics of my toddler Savanah--while she is my 5th child she envokes all the wonderment of first time parenting with her arrival coming 25 years after my first with her siblings now ranging in age from 26 to 17. She is also my fiance's first child and his joy and awe in this chapter in his life matches my own. An advocate for breast-feeding, co-sleeping, attachment parenting, and anti-vaxing my personal beliefs have evolved over 26 years but have always had their foundation in actively seeking ways to protect and enhance my children's lifes.
My interests include photography, writing, reading, antiquing, and cooking.
Divorced for 17 years my 'happy ever after' finally found me when I met my fiance who is 23 years my junior. Always interesting is the range of emotions and reactions we encounter in various social settings as a result of our age gap. The fact that it is even an issue to be discussed is evident of the double standard still applied to age gap relationships like ours, despite the onslaught of 'Cougar' terminalogy and made for Tv portrayals, our situation is still not widely accepted and seems to confuse the majority.
In using this format I am looking to discuss different aspects of my life and the world in an attempt to inform and exchange information with others.
