 'I don't think we should date anymore'. Stop. I want you to stop and think for a moment about your first break-up. Who knows how long you were in that dark place or if you're even out. I thought I was far from the days of listening to 'Tears on my Pillow', myself. So, I'm 28 and dating. If you're older you're probably thinking, 'You still have time' and if you're younger you'd start off with, 'You're not that old, you still have time'. Inception; Have we all lost our minds?

Christopher Nolan's movie, 'Inception' projects an engaging psychological approach to the human mind. After two hours and twenty-two minutes, I walked out of the theatre lost in another's reality. My conclusion to the overall concept of the plot? There is no plot. This is not your average story and there are three things that this movie provided me,1. The human mind is vast and complex 2. There is no reality without hope or 'dreams'. 3. As humans our internal drive is to create a 'homeostasis' which relieves us from pain and suffering.  Read more >

       I am 27. My best friend of 24 years is getting married next weekend and my twin sister is getting married the second weekend in July. What is different between me and them? Why is having a marriage something I am so envious of? Do men like theirs really exsist?  Read more >

I am grateful for this opportunity to join this community of bright and ambitious women. I am new to blogging and technologically retarded, as my family was more focused on old school education, so my first blog was actually my Bio because I didn't know where to input that material. I, live in Maryland and love to escape Maryland, my favorite places to visit are Brooklyn, Seattle, and San Francisco. I've been out of the country twice, well...born overseas and then have lived a short stint in Europe. I, am probably like everyone else here, highly self-aware and creative and hope to learn and see like minded people here. My blog focus will probably lean to more open-minded, racially and culturally aware and my perceptions and interactions in our society. I am a bit off the wall... Regards, Jessica
