You Know You've Been Blogging Too Long When ...

Remember when the whole idea of "blogging" was fresh and new? When you had to explain to everyone around just what the heck "blogging" is? And when "blogging" always had quotes around it, because no one knew what to make of it? ...more

Thoughts on Coming Home to Boston

On Thursday afternoon I popped outside for my lunch break and walked around Copley, like I always do. Only that day, the excitement in the air over the upcoming marathon was palpable. Our track record for Making New Friends just got a little more pitiful. I don’t know about you, but the older I get the harder I find it to make new friends. For starters, for as long as I can remember my Hubby hasn’t been free on the weekends, so that kind of sets us up for failure right off the bat. And as for myself, I’m a closet introvert who usually starts off strong before I go and say something totally asinine. ...more
