USPS Free Packaging Materials for Military Families

I just found this out and I hope I am not repeating information already on here. USPS is offering free packaging materials for those with family members overseas serving in the military. All you have to do is call 1-800-610-8735(pick 1 for English/2 for Spanish) then choose option 1. Tell the Customer Service Rep you would like the "Military Care Pack" and give your shipping info. They will send you enough materials for 6 packages to send Flat Rate. You will also get and ID number for when you need more supplies. How nice is that?  Read more >

My Daughter is 'that kid"

Every year the teacher has one. The kid who is the challenge. Talking out-of-turn, loud, bossy, in and out of her seat tattle tale- that's my Savannah. Now there is talk of ADHD and I am just really hesitant to accept that diagnosis. She can pay attention....when she wants to. I have read and read about it and the only part she really fits is the 'impulsive' type. Mostly, I think it's behavior problems she can control if she really wants to, but the impulsive part does seem to be a big problem for her. I have a conflict. They will want to medicate her.  Read more >
