Rachel Tripp

I am an entrepreneur.  I am a mommy.  I am a happy, hormonal mess.

I blog for a few reasons:

1)  For my children to have a written record to be able to refer their future therapists to (maybe they won't have to spend so many billable hours explaining the specifics of their childhoods so they can get straight to the therapy part.).
     2)    For other women out there who wonder, "Am I the only one around here crazy enough to think ______________?" *fill in the blank).  No, you're not... go with it!
     3)  For myself,  because there's a lot of stuff that I forget to remember..., and I don't want to miss anything.  See, there's thisHashimoto guy breathing down my neck, and for fun he likes to screw with my thyroid, which affects my short term memory sometimes.  So I like to have my posts to look back on and remember the things I forgot to remember.

Once You're Out Of The Box It's Hard To Get Back In

Waking Up From Happily Ever After

The triangle relationship I was an unwilling participant in with my soon to be ex-husband and his "best friend" has parting gifts.  This past summer I took my kids on a month long vacation overseas to visit their grandparents. I came home to find new sheets on my bed. I said to him, "Wow! I can't believe that you actually bought new sheets and made the bed so nice for me! That's my favorite thing ever, coming home after traveling and crawling into my own bed with clean sheets." "Oh yes! Kelly got those for you!...more

Getting Good At Crazy

If I didn't think I was crazy before my husband and I started our own business... I can be sure I am now. I'll fit right into the insane asylum. I bet it's filled with small business owners rocking back and forth to soothe themselves....more
