Today I want to give thanks. Thank you to the moms in my life — my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my grandmothers, my aunts, my best friend and especially my own mom. Even before I gave birth, these women taught me what it meant to be a mother. Through the years, they’ve shared their stories, given me advice and led by example. If it weren’t for their lessons, I would not be the mom I am today. So in honor of Mother’s Day, I wanted to share a few of those lessons with you.  Read more >

As hard as it is being a new mom, being a new working mom can be just as — if not more — difficult. In addition to the e-mails and meetings and conference calls, there are breast pumps and day care drop-offs and the overwhelming feeling of just how much you miss your little one during the hours you’re away from him. For every positive of returning to work, there’s a negative. Some days the positives outweigh the negatives, and vice versa.
