Welcome!  My name is Randa and I am the author of "About Life*."  I am a 20-something woman living in Georgia with my fiancée, our dog Sasha, and our two cats, Harper and Fez.  I'm finishing my last year in undergraduate and have started the process of applying to graduate school and/or getting a full-time job.  When I'm not in school, I'm either working, at my internship, or sitting at home wondering if I forgot anything.

As much as I love blogging, it's not the ultimate path I've chosen for myself.  My dream is to help teenagers develop a sense of self, figure out their life path, and to be there as they navigate through Erik Erickson's stage of identity vs role confusion.  My undergraduate work is in the field of Child and Family Development [better known as Human Development but with more of a sociology twist], which has been more useful to me than any other major that I considered.  Since I've spent a lot of my time devoted to studying about human systems, relationships, human developments, etc., it is a topic that I am both really interested in and have a lot of [research-based] knowledge about.  I haven't explored too much into bringing this aspect of my life into my blog but be warned - it will happen one day.

About Life* is my personal blog - it's not meant to generate any sort of profit [though that would be nice] or to change other's perspective.  It's just a place to gather my thoughts and to keep doing what I love - writing.  It's also a place where I am trying to develop myself through various ways, such as my 101 in 1001 list.  One day, I would love to do a more professional blog but that's not a reality right now.  If you want to read the original goals of this blog, please read my first post.
