I am a happily married woman living in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. 

I grew up in the deep south, Alabama and spent a lot of time in kitchens with my mother, grandmother, and aunts, who are all wonderful Southern cooks, and part of a very close family.  They were happy and enjoyed themselves and each other while working in the kitchen.  I loved watching them and listening to them and being with them.  I still love being in the kitchen.

I created a blog, SageTrifle, to share the food I cook as well as the joy and creative fulfillment, which results from the nurturing of the body and soul of the people I love, myself included, with scratch made, wholesome, home cooked meals.
