I am a fairly average girl. Coming up on my 30^th birthday in January, married for 4 ½ years to the love of my life, a recovering alcoholic for almost 4 years, college educated, sorority girl, businesswoman, philanthropist, pet owner, homeowner, etc…

Like nearly all women I am a touch crazy. I prefer to think of it as “emotional”. I wear my heart on my sleeve, often speak before thinking, and tend to be empathetic to a fault.

I think I have an above average intelligence that is tempered by an above average infusion of blonde hair. I try to follow the teachings of the Buddha but often don’t do it very well. I like my pets more than most people but still believe that every single person has the capacity to do the right thing if they only let themselves.

I love to learn new things, love to write, love to sing at the top of my lungs off-key, and have a fondness for naps in a sunbeam with a kitty cat or three. I’m cynical, narcissistic, lazy, and often crude. On the flip side I am also compassionate, loving, energetic, and generous. I love my life, even when it sucks, and try my hardest to be there for those who share it with me.

Every moment is a gift and I am trying hard to remember that and help others realize it as well. If this one isn’t going the way I planned or hoped, the next one always has potential to be better.
