The official bio:

I work primarily in the areas of media relations, issues management, public consultation and social media consulting.

 I was communications manager at Bruce Power during its first year of operation, overseeing internal and external communications. I led a multi-disciplinary team during the consultation effort to secure regulatory approvals for the restart of two nuclear reactors.

Previously a senior consultant in the Toronto office of global public affairs firm Hill and Knowlton, I've developed media relations strategies for crisis, issues management and marketing communications clients involved in the technology, energy and entertainment sectors. I'm now focusing on PR 2.0 and MR 2.0 for clients in the nanotech and clean energy tech sectors.

With a Bachelor of Arts (English) from Glendon College, York University, my background includes several years in book, magazine and newspaper publishing.

 I've recently taken up quilting and photography. I'm not sure which is more frustrating. But I will perservere with both.
