In my day job am a consultant of sorts, talking to people who have financial difficulties. I set out to help by first understanding the source of the problem, good number of people I see tell me their troubles begun when they took out a short term loan which they could not pay back and then took out another loan to repay it, and before they knew it, things got out of control. This shows the dangers of short term loans; people take them out thinking they can afford them, lenders know that in most cases they can’t and yet they go ahead and issue loans to these people.
I tell my clients to avoid these loans but of course by the time I see most of them its too late.
