About Me:

I am a 27-year-old feminist, social activist, blogger, writer, and full-time high school English teacher. This stuff keeps me busy.

I keep my own blog, Small Strokes, about being a married feminist and how I navigate those murky waters. I also occasionally blog there about teaching, because being a feminist teacher is sometimes tougher than being a feminist wife. I was a Staff Writer for Gender Across Borders, a global feminist blog, until I very recently started blogging for Care2.

I have walked in seven 2-day Avon Walks for Breast Cancer with my mom, I am in my sixth year of teaching, I have my Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing with a teaching certificate, and I completed my Master's in English Studies in May 2010.  You can also follow me on Twitter or email me at samsanator (at) gmail (dot) com.
