I am so freaking confused right now! There is an ex boyfriend of mine that I have tried to maintain a friendship with and surprise, surprise... it's not working! Oh, there are a ton of reasons why even attempting to be friends was crazy. First of all let me clarify and say that he was more of a friend with benefits whom I was very close to and would even venture to say best friends with but just happened to sleep with on a weekly basis for almost two years.      It did not end the way I thought it would. This two year on again/off again relationship/friendship that I had somehow gotten myself into. It did not end with harsh words and streaming tears. What it ended with is an air of indifference. The reality that all my emotions, my investment had been spent already and I had nothing left to give.      Without saying a single word, I ended this dysfuntional relationship.
