I'm a jewelry designer and warm glass artist (think kiln projects instead of bead making), technical writer and editor on a freelance basis, wife, knitter, and general crafty person. I'm always struggling to figure out my place in this crazy world. Two cats, one insane chocolate lab, and a brindeled mutt that's part goat make life more interesting, albeit more challenging at times. I also love to cook and entertain, though I'm also quite happy watching bad TV alone or with my hubby. Other than all of that, my hubby and I are now the proud parents of a wonderful little boy.  I'm still struggling with endometriosis, but I feel really lucky that we were able to create such a great little guy.  Life is a challenge... if it was't, how would we know we were living?
