I'm a writer, clinical health psychologist, private wellness coach, and at-home mom. I specialize in women's health and well-being, especially self-care for moms.

My writing has appeared in a number of print and online publications, including the 2009 Seal Press anthology P.S. What I Didn't Say: Unsent Letters to Our Female Friends and the 2011 anthology TORN: True Stories of Kids, Career & the Conflict of Modern Motherhood (Coffeetown Press).

I'm a health and wellness columnist for my local newspaper, a freelance writer, and the author of the parenting blog Mama in Wonderland. My nonfiction self-help book on modern stay-at-home motherhood and self-care, The Essential Stay-at-Home Mom Manual: How to Have a Wondrous Life Amidst Kids and Chaos, was released by Booktrope Editions in e-book form for the exclusive Barnes & Noble NookFirst program in December 2011, and will be published in physical book form, available everywhere books are sold, in late January 2012.
