Thanks George!

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 03, 2012 Thanks George! I'm not a very good traveler. I worry about every little thing. Whether I'm in a plane, in a car, or on a train. I'm constantly on the edge of disaster striking. Its awful and something I intend --with every inch of my soul-- to fix. If its fixable. Anyway. A celebration weekend- extravaganza in San Diego was in order for our Tiffy. Its just a few months late. But better late then never. Especially when its entails heading out of town. (((( on a train!  Read more >

something bigger...

MONDAY, JANUARY 16, 2012 something bigger.... There are times in your life when your breath is taken away. It might be the birth of your baby. The day you get married. Your child's giggle. *** I loved being pregnant. There is something so magical about a person growing inside of you. Feeling your baby hiccup. Seeing a foot glide across your stomach from the inside. Knowing there is something bigger then just you and I ... *** This family is such an important part of mine and Paul's life. We are honored to have them as friends! They are expecting their twins in March!!  Read more >

Escape

I was quiet this week. Part writers block. Part, just joined a gym and was getting acclimated to a new schedule and routine. Another part - spending a little more time outside before the weather goes nasty. Paul working as much as he has these last couple weeks didn't give me much time for writing, and the time that was available was spent watching Friends. I've always loved that show, but lately I've become insanely obesessed.  Read more >

About Me:

I grew up in a very small house in Lomita, CA. I shared a room with my three sisters. If I could, I'd go back to that same house, with my parents and my sisters in a heartbeat. I spent two months in Africa. I was able to see a lot of amazing things there. It was a beautiful chapter in my life. There have been times I close my eyes, and I can smell the air. Its a indescribable smell. I dream of returning. I graduated high school when I was only 16 years old. I had plans to go to college early to be a physical therapist.. but because my Dad was severely injured I had to go to work instead to help support my family. My Mom had a heart attack at 42 years old. She died on my 22nd birthday. Because of that I am obsessed with being HEALTHY! I take up to 26 different vitamins a day. I married my bestfriend. I didn't believe in true love until my son came into this world. I constantly change my hair. I am more secure with myself then I have ever been. I love music - all kinds. Except the screaming kind!! I love, love, love to dance. Especially when no one is looking!!! I love to cook. I am constantly looking for new recipes. I have become better at it since widening my horizons! I am open minded, optimistic and opinionated. I respect people, and their opinions. I easily get offended when that is not reciprocated. God is my whole heart. I don't talk about it often, and many people don't know this about me. I have seen too many things in my life to deny his love and forgiveness. I am thankful, and committed to his everlasting love. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years and we have two children. Cole is three and Savannah is one. My aunt who is blind and suffers from chronic depression and mental illness moved in with us in 2009. Our life is very simple. We are blessed enough that I can stay home with our son. I have been blogging for a couple of years now. It has turned into my own personal journal that I hope one day our son and any future children we have might enjoy. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe people enter, and leave your life according to the will and road that is planned for you. I believe in true love. I believe that life is unfair, and sometimes things don't always go the way you plan. I believe in failure. I believe in redemption and forgiveness. I believe in friendship. I believe in faith. I believe in unconditional love. I believe that there are good people in this world. I believe in new beginnings. I believe in music, and I believe that dancing is therapeutic. I believe in my God. In five years, I see my husband and I with at least 3 children.. living in the house we will die in. Loving our life, our friends, and one another. I may come off as materialistic, but there is nothing more that I want in this world then for my husband, children, friends, family, and myself to live long and healthy, happy lives!

These are the things that inspire my writing. I blog about the good, the bad, the ugly, and all of the in-betweens. It started off as a way to keep track of the little moments in life that are hard to remember, and it has since turned into a way of keeping my sanity. If I have any left! Visit me. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you and read your stories!
