I am a youngish single parent to two amazing girls, ages 2 and 13, and we live in Northern California.

I balance working for a non-profit and being a sole-custody provider / boo-boo kisser. My house is messy, but my kids are happy.

I started Single Parent Soundboard to share the ins & outs of my journey through single parenthood, and to gather single parents & their supporters to share ideas on how we can be successful, happy families.

Life can be pretty challenging, but if my stumbles and triumphs can help others, then my journey is even more worthwhile.
