As all good Star Wars geeks know, the day to celebrate all things Star Warsian is today, May 4th. OF COURSE we all know that the first movie -- A New Hope -- was ACTUALLY released in 1977 on May 25th, but it's clearly way more fun and in keeping with this high holy day to celebrate Star Wars today, just so we can go around saying, "May the Fourth be with you!"  Read more >

I am a freelance writer, editor, and sometime cheesemonger in the Bay Area. I take on all sorts of odd jobs -- Japanese culinary manga, vampire dating guides, the list keeps getting weirder -- but my most recent gig has been that of new mother. I think I might be getting the hang of it, but, you know, I'm sure that will change.
