About Me:
My name is Courtney otherwise known as "Wife to the Rockstar". I have been married to the love of my life for 13 years. My husband may not have achieved fame in this world, but here at home he is very much the Rockstar. We met as kids at summer camp. I have loved him for as long as I can remember. We dated young, married young, and started our family young. I have never regretted a single moment. I have the best job in the whole world. I am a stay at home Mom. I homeschool our kids. I love photography. I hope one day to write a book. I love every minute of my beautiful life. We have 10 amazing children. They range in age from 13 down to a newborn . We didn't start out planning a big family. We just decided one day that we would let God do the planning. We had four children biologically first. Then in 2004 God spoke to our hearts about adoption. We haven't been the same since. In 2005 we welcomed home two children from Russia. They were 8 and 6 years old when they arrived. Shortly after bringing them home we also discovered we would be welcoming another baby into our family. As our family rapidly grew, so did our hearts. In 2007 we welcomed home a 20 month old little boy with multiple special needs through a domestic adoption. At the time we were also expecting number 8. Just 6 months after our adoption, we welcomed our baby boy into our arms. Most recently, we welcomed home our son Kai through the blessing of adoption. He came to us at just 4 days old and has been such a precious gift to our family. In between we attempted to adopt from Haiti and Liberia all resulting in failed adoptions and loss. While the journey has had many ups and downs and our hearts have been broken , we fully trust in God for His perfect plan for our family. Each of our children are such a blessing to us. They truly are our Treasures in every way. Life may be chaotic. Our house may be full. Our grocery bill may be outrageous. The laundry may be endless. But, we wouldn't change one thing.
