I am a 20-something foodie that grew up in a traditional European family. The kind of family that swear by big Sunday lunches. It's culinary customs such as this that has shaped my relationship with food today. To me, food is sharing it with the people you care about, feeling a sense of pride in what you’re putting out on the table and fostering a positive relationship with what you eat, that centres on family and making traditions.

So maybe you’re looking for a simpler way to cook, or perhaps you’re scouring the internet for a cabbage roll recipe like your grandmother use to make, or maybe you’re in need of an idea for dinner tonight.  Whatever the reason may be, I am sure you'll find what you're looking for at The Suburban Peasant.
